Poltergeists

Poltergeist is a German term that translates simply to “noisy ghost.” One of the main characteristics of a poltergeist is its high level of activity; it often manifests itself by moving or even throwing objects. Professor Hans Holzer reexamines these most menacing of hauntings, including the famous case of the Bell Witch of Tennessee, a nineteenth-century spirit, and the Millbrae Poltergeist, which crashes around a suburban home.
